Let’s explore five fun working models that combine creativity with engineering.
1. Basic Fan

Build a sturdy fan using Havi Bricks and power it using a DC motor from Havi Elements. Add the paper craft of the fan for right vibes. While assembling the circuit, children understand how electrical energy is converted into mechanical motion.
2. Static Traffic Light Model

Traffic signals are something children see every day, making them an excellent introduction to electronics.
Using Havi Bricks, kids construct a road & pole that gives a realistic look as a traffic signal, while LEDs from Havi Elements bring the model to life. This project introduces children to electrical circuits, LED connections, and the purpose of traffic management systems.

3. Jackpot Game

Commonly known as the Stop the Circle game, this project becomes even more exciting because you get to build the game yourself.
In this project, children create a sensor-based game. Start by making a circular game board using card paper. Divide it into eight sections and assign a score to each section. Next, build the stand using Havi Bricks and attach an arrow to the rotating disc.
When you bring your hand near the IR sensor, the disc starts rotating. When you move your hand away, the disc stops. The section where the arrow points is your score!
4. Smart Street Light using IR Sensor

Can a street light switch on automatically when someone approaches? With this project, the answer is yes.
Children build a miniature street light using Havi Bricks and use an IR sensor from Havi Elements to detect nearby objects. As soon as someone comes close, the light turns on automatically.
This introduces young learners to sensors, automation, and smart technology—the same principles used in many real-world applications.

5. Automatic Water Dispenser

Children build a water dispenser model using Havi Bricks and combine it with an IR sensor and water pump from Havi Elements. When a glass comes near the sensor, the pump automatically dispenses water.
This project is often one of the favourites because it resembles devices children encounter in schools, hospitals, restaurants, and shopping malls. Also, an all time favorite choice for science fairs due to its usability.
